As Creative Director on Tiffany & Co.’s “Love Is a Gift,” starring Anya Taylor-Joy, I helped shape the visual effects approach to create a heightened, elegant world that still felt grounded in the sophistication and photographic language of the brand. Our work focused on using VFX by extending and enhancing the environments through digital matte painting and carefully integrated CG, while adding CG snow and atmospheric elements to bring a sense of winter romance and magic to the imagery. Every detail, from the scale and depth of the environments to the movement, density and interaction of the snow, was crafted to feel completely natural within the photography and to help create the beautiful, cinematic world surrounding Anya and reinforcing the timeless sense of love, luxury and wonder at the heart of the film.
